Reps. David G. Valadao (CA-22) and Morgan McGarvey (KY-03) introduced H.R. 7342, the Veterans Accessibility Advisory Committee Act. The legislation aims to make the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) more accessible for disabled veterans by establishing a permanent advisory committee within the VA to allow for direct and regular communication with the Secretary on behalf of disabled veterans.

With two deadlines quickly approaching, Congressman David G. Valadao (CA-22) is urging Central Valley veterans to apply for new benefits under the Honoring our PACT Act (PACT Act) – a bipartisan piece of legislation signed into law last year that significantly expanded VA health care and benefits for millions of veterans who were exposed to burn pits and other toxins during their military service.
