Internships

Washington, D.C. Internship
Interns based in Washington, D.C. will give Capitol Tours, answer phones, run errands, research legislation for the Member and legislative staff, attend hearings and briefings, and answer constituent letters. As a result, D.C. Interns will learn about the legislative process and the many other functions of a Congressional office.

Washington Office Internship Application Deadlines 
Currently Accepting Intern applications for the Summer semester. 
 
District Internship
Interns based in our Hanford and Bakersfield District Offices will answer phones, assist Field Representatives with projects and memos, and conduct in-District research. As a result, District Interns will learn about make-up of the 22nd Congressional District and the motivation behind the Congressman’s legislative work.
