House Passes Senate Energy Legislation with California Water ProvisionsLegislation Set to Go to Conference with the Senate
This afternoon, the United States House of Representatives passed an Amendment to the Senate-passed energy bill, S. 2012, the Energy Policy Modernization Act of 2016.
WASHINGTON, DC – This afternoon, the United States House of Representatives passed an Amendment to the Senate-passed energy bill, S. 2012, the Energy Policy Modernization Act of 2016.The House Amendment to S. 2012 includes thirty-seven energy and water related bills that have passed the House of Representatives throughout the current 114th Congress. Included in the Amendment, is drought relief legislation introduced by U.S. Congressman David G. Valadao (CA-21), H.R. 2898, the Western Water and American Food Security Act of 2015.
