WASHINGTON - Today, Congressman David G. Valadao (CA-22) released the following statement after he was elected to serve as the Chairman of the Republican Governance Group (RG2). He succeeds Congressman Dave Joyce (OH-14), who has led the group since 2022. Rep. Valadao has been an active member throughout his time in Congress and will lead RG2 as Congress continues to address the most pressing challenges facing the nation.
