WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman David G. Valadao joined House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (CA-23) and House Agriculture Committee Republican Leader Glenn Thompson (PA-15) in a solutions-focused letter to President Biden on the regulatory barriers hindering domestic agriculture producers. In the letter, the members cite skyrocketing food costs and food shortages as reason to take immediate action to increase American food production.

“In the face of record high food prices and the prospect of global food shortages, we should be doing everything we can to remove the regulatory burdens on our domestic agriculture producers,” said Congressman Valadao. “The regulatory agenda of this administration is making it more difficult for farmers to do their jobs, and for families to put food on the table. I will continue fighting to make sure Central Valley farmers have the resources they need to provide food for the nation.”
