Valadao Announces U.S. Service Academy Night

Valadao (CA-21) will host his United States Service Academy Night at Hanford West High School.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about obtaining a Congressional Nomination to one of the United States Service Academies and will meet field representatives from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, and U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
This informational event is recommended for all high school and middle school students who reside in California’s 21st Congressional District and are interested in attending a military academy and their families an opportunity to meet firsthand with representatives from the U.S. Military Service Academies and the local Congressional offices.
Current and prospective Academy applicants can learn about the unique educational advantages available at the services academies and about the Congressional nomination process.
The U.S. Service Academies offer a unique and esteemed educational opportunity for young men and women. Accepted students receive a 4-year university education, room and board, medical and dental coverage and a stipend in exchange for a 5-year military service commitment at graduation.
